Is a classical Korean instrument, haegeum player and Korean classical vocalist. she is a musician who plays Korean classical music through jazz. She is one of the few performers of Haegeum Byeongchang (performers who sing with Haegeum) in Korea, and She is doing Gugak jazz(Korean classical music through jazz) with a Korean melody and personality. Her clear voice and the mournful sound of Haegeum overlap, characterizing a dreamy atmosphere. She communicates and plays with musicians of various nationalities, including France, Spain and Kenya, through jazz. She was born on December 30, 1992 in Seoul, South Korea. She has been interested in music since she was young, so she learned piano and violin since she was three years old. She started learning Korean music at the age of seven, starting with the traditional instrument 'Danso', and learning ‘Haegeum’ at the age of eleven. In addition to Haegeum, she learned ‘Min-yo’(folk songs) and ’Soribug’(Korean drums) at the Korean Music Education Institute. She began her performance activities with her teachers from the age of
thirteen, and graduated from the National Academy of Traditional Arts as a scholarship student at the National Institute of Education to teach Korean music. She was also selected as a student of a preliminary school program at the Korea National University of Arts, the nation's top art institution, at the age of 19 and educated by the nation's top faculty. She was interested in jazz music besides Korean music. So she learned to compose at the age of 19 and theoretically incorporated jazz into Korean music. She started her career in Korean jazz clubs at the age of 21, and played her first overseas jazz club in Paris, France at the age of 23. From the age of 25, she expanded her musical career as a Haegeum Byeongchang player who sang along with Haegeum. She also started singing old Korean poems. Her latest works include "Sweet Poem", "Wind from Half Island", and "The Losing Moon and the Dawn Stars". Currently, she is active in various countries, including Kenya, Paris, and France.
